Camera Phone Crash Course was a workshop I developed and delivered for the Grassington Festival following my success winning their 2013 weather-themed photography competition. A fun family event to encourage creativity with everyday cameras, namely smart phones and basic digital equipment. Top tips for taking great photos and apps to edit them with, examples of fresh fun photos ideas, photo bingo, creative tasks, and a chance to try out new skills during a photo-walk around the village made up the session, which was rounded off with tea, biscuits, and a friendly show-and-tell of attendees photos from their walk. This was a free but ticketed event held in the Devonshire Institute.
The workshop was part of the Grassington Festival and was held on Sunday June 23 2013. It ran for two hours in the afternoon and families were encouraged to attend. The total capacity was 12 and a total of eight people attended.
