Day 2 of 3 at Beacons Festival.
It was lovely to meet seasoned and new zinesters today in The Space Between at Beacons Festival, Skpiton. Lots of kids this morning, and loads of later-to-rise adults rocking up this afternoon, keen to get creative too. So many inspiring ideas from everyone, particularly the children who just got on with it, spilling their imagination out onto the page.
Today I also managed to explore some of the arts/alternate areas in The Space Between too. I had a fabulous time with Dr Sketchy at his very special art class, and listened to a rather inspiring shit talk with Rose George in the Impossible Lecture tent.
Glad to be in the car and heading home. So much rain everyone will be swimming by bedtime.

It’s blowing a hoolie out today.

Even when it wasn’t raining we were busy today.
Finding out what people think Beacons will be like in 3013 for the collaborative zine
We’re in the The Space Between Weekend Programme.
A well earned break, featuring homemade cake.
So wet and windy today. Hardly fair considering the month before we had a heat wave.
This one goes out to the one I love – unfortunately the neon even looked good during the day today.
A shit talk in the Impossible Lecture tent – no really, it was about poop and sewage systems
Come zINe – the free drop-in poster I made.
Keep on smiling.
